Use at your own risk! 01/07/2005 We have now added the SPAL line of equipment to our line of products. 10/21/2004 We have now added the RaceCeiver equipment to our line of products. 08/05/2004 We attended the NASA event at the Virginia International Raceway near Danville, VA. The weekend included car showing and open track time. Please see photos. 07/17/2004 Updated Photo Gallery Section to include shots from the 40th Mustang Anniversary Convention, SAAC 29, the 2003 Monterey Historics. 05/08/2004 Buzz Clarke and his co-driver piloted the newly completed CAV to a 11th place overall in the 2004 Car and Driver One Lap of America ( http://www.onelapofamerica.com ). They had several road course finishes of 7th place. See a video from Hallett. 04/18/2004 Attended 40th Anniversary Mustang Convention. Great convention. Several new cars to be seen. There were two 2005 Mustangs and a Ford GT. Lots of good track time (5 hours, 300 miles). See photos. 11/15/2003 The car made its debut at the fantastic annual Eurosport Fest in Virginia Beach, VA. Always a good time with 60 - 100 cars on display. Lots of Porches, Ferraris, and even a Lambo and GT40 :). 09/17/2003 The trany and engine have been finally assembled including the Tilton twin disk and flywheel combo with Tilton hydraulic release bearing. The ceramic coated engine and accessory brackets should arrive this week and allow for fitment of the engine and trany. I will post pictures of some of the more interesting hardware soon. 07/22/2003 Received RBT 5 speed and am in the process of trial fitting it in the chassis. Stay tuned for more progress. 07/19/2003 Attended the "Art of Ferrari" exibit at a local art gallery. There were 12 magnificent cars on hand including: 1932, Alfa 8C 2300 Monza; 1952 375 Indy; 1991 641/2 Formula 1; 1961, 250 TRI/61; 1953 250 MM; 1962 250 GTO; 1963 330 P; 1949 166 MM; 1967 275 GTS/4 NART Spyder; 1958 250 GT Coupe; 1967 365 P/2 Speciale; 1973 Dino GTS b246. See photos. 07/01/2003 Released gear ratio data chart compiled from many sources. It includes data from many high performance cars and data from candidate GT40 transaxles and final drive combinations. This chart includes a wealth of information and I encourage you to check it out. If you come across information that could be added (to help the GT40 community) please let me know. 05/29/2003 RBT (ZF) 5 speed transaxle was ordered with the following gear ratios:
Transaxle should arrive by first week of July. All other installation issues should be handled by then. 05/27/2003 Just returned from SAAC - 27 in Nashville, TN. Had a great time. Was able to meet many of the folks I had only meet through the web. Quite a good turnout in our pit area, and I really enjoyed getting out on the track. OPEN TRACK WAS GREAT!
